This is a very layered painted image built up from smaller paintings which have been collaged onto a larger piece of stonehedge. The people have an ambiguous relationship, but are woven into a tight pictorial space, and generally seem to be enjoying each other's company. Painterliness, mark making, and a sense of trying to preserve original information as the layers accrue were concerns.
