The Atmospheric Effects Series consists of monotype murals prints created from collotype prints, over which stencil-based monotypes were printed. They were then seamed together into triptych sheets and painted and drawn over. They celebrate the heady scents of mid summer gardens in full growth.
As a bit of an accidental gardener, I often find that plants, in their various stages of growth are a ready subject. Plant imagery has such a rich tradition in decorative and pattern based art.
